About Jeannie
Jeannie's zest for art prompted her to open Gallery 1628 as an exhibiting gallery and quaint working studio for herself and several other artists. Jeannie graduated magna cum laude from NSU with a BA in Art.  She received the academic achievement award for fine art and continues to win awards in juried shows.
Jeannie's Art
Jeannie primarily works with oils but also enjoys using other mediums to continue stretching her imagination.  She create figurative pieces with the occasional still life. She portrays the quiet and introspective moments in the life of her subjects that the public rarely sees.  Her elongated style and muted pallet suggests the mystery that is part of us all.  Jeannie urges the viewer to complete the story.
